I
initially got into play piercing in about September 1 999
after watching someone perform on a friend of mine. It
gave me such a rush I decided to learn more about
it. The fist picture here is of my wife adorned with
needles, the rest are of a friend of ours named Tiffany.

After being trained how to play pierce safely and
properly, I tried it on my then sub, and found that I
really liked it and found it gave me an even bigger rush
doing it myself. As
for doing it ON myself. I couldn’t. I'm afraid of
needles! Ironic for
someone who enjoys play piercing. For me, when I play pierce, it gives me such a rush that my
body shakes. I
enjoy watching the piercee's face and body language with
each and every needle I slip into their skin.
If I don’t get any reaction, I then stick the
next needle a little deeper.
:)
I've played with as few as 6-8 needles, and have gone as
high as 24 needles. To date, my play piercing has been restricted to the chest
area around the breasts.
I soon plan on trying it on the lower torso (inner
thighs, buttocks), and also on the back of the shoulders.
It usually takes anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes to
place the needles, and about 5 to 10 minutes remove them.
When Play Piercing I wear a latex glove on the hand
that I use to pinch the skin, but I don’t wear one on
the other hand simply because it allows me better feel
for, and control of my needle. The needles usually remain
in the skin for about 5 to 10 minutes.
For me, removing the needles is the biggest rush. Again, I wear only one latex glove on the hand that I use to apply
pressure to the skin.
An alcohol swab is used to apply pressure to the
area for a number of
reasons. One is that I know that it provides a
stinging sensation, and it also insures the area is
sterile. Removing the needles slowly also inflicts a nice
stinging sensation. Removing the needles without applying
any pressure will cause a small droplet of blood to
appear... a sight I personally enjoy.
Afterwards I always clean the area well with
alcohol to avoid the possibility of infection.
When the needles
are removed they are immediately capped and deposited in a
safe Biohazard container. These can then be disposed of
properly either at a hospital or clinic. Most will dispose
of them for you without charge or question, simply to
avoid the chance of the needles falling into the hands of
children or other unsuspecting persons.
Here is a list of supplies you should always have on hand
when Play Piercing.
1)
22 gauge hypodermic needles
(recommended)
2) Alcohol swabs
3) Latex gloves
4) Gauze pads
5) Band-aids
6) A disposal BIOHAZARD container for the needles.
WARNING:
Play Piercing is NOT
something to be done without first being trained by an
experienced piercing artist. All piercing requires
sterile preparation and proper aftercare to avoid
infection.
